Connie Ramos Williams, CEO and President of CONRIC PR & Marketing | Publishing will be presenting “Getting Media Attention” at the June 6, 2013 National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) luncheon meeting to be held at the Grandezza Country Club located at 11481 Grande Oak Blvd in Estero.

Connie Ramos-Williams will shed some light on this matter and share some of her secrets that will help business owners get noticed by the media. Participants will learn how to create effective media alerts, what common mistakes are made when contacting media outlets, the value of a public relations and marketing agency and how to identify media resources and build contacts.
Connie Ramos-Williams is the President & CEO of CONRIC PR & Marketing and CONRIC Publishing. She founded the company in 2007. She and her team of professionals currently provide a complete menu of marketing services for clients that include: Encore Bank, Cre8 Salon & Spa, Harry Chapin Food Bank, FGCU, numerous local and regional law firms, medical offices, politicians, retail and manufacturer companies. Ramos-Williams sits on the board of directors or advisory board for several community non-profit organizations such as Dress for Success SW Florida, Multicultural Centre of SWFL, Above Board Chamber of Commerce and Fit Nation Magazine. She is a Founding member of the Tiger Bay Club of Southwest Florida, and an active member of Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, Southwest Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Above Board Chamber of Commerce, Southwest Florida Manufacturers Association, Rotary Club of South Fort Myers and serves on the 20th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee with the Florida Bar Association. She has been the project director for the BIG Backpack Event for more than 13 years now. The event serves more than 2,000 school age children with free backpacks and school supplies each year. Connie is a native Floridian originally from Miami. She and her husband, Rick Williams, have four grown children.
