South Florida's Top Talent Winners Announced!
South Florida’s Top Talent Competition, held on Saturday, March 9th at the Shell Factory and Nature Park in North Fort Myers, is proud to announce this year’s winners. Singers, musicians and dancers performed in front of a live audience and celebrity judges in hope of winning the South Florida’s Top Talent title, cash, prizes and promotions. After judges Eric Raddatz, the Founder of the Fort Myers Film Festival and Janeth Castrejon of Telemundo, tallied their scores, winners were announced and presented with certificates and prizes.
Fifteen year old Makenzie Raye from Tampa, Florida, wowed the judges and audience when she sang Reba McEntire’s song Turn on the Radio. She won the title for the under 18 category. Clemencia Colmenares of Cape Coral, Florida, competing in the 18 and over category, won the title with her Spanish vocals, singing No Me Queda Mas by Selena. Runner ups in the competition were 12 year old Naomi Ingram, who played the piano and sang to Billy Joel’s Vienna and Ariana Del Castillo, who gave a unique hoop and feather dance performance.
“We enjoy supporting performing arts in South Florida,” states Connie Ramos-Williams of CONRIC PR & Marketing | Publishing. “The South Florida’s Top Talent competition gives the community an opportunity to show off their talent locally and provides them with an opportunity for regional or national exposure,” adds Ramos-Williams.
