Mark your calendars! Frank Jean LMT Massage Therapy and Legacy Harbour Hotel & Suites present the Happy & Healthy Happy Hour on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 5 – 8 p.m. at 2038 West First Street in downtown Fort Myers. The event is in benefit of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation by the American Cancer Society. Admission to the event is free, and swag bags with over $100 worth of items and give aways will be given to the first 100 guests.
This is not the average happy hour! The Happy & Healthy Happy Hour offers women in Southwest Florida the chance to receive important health screenings and information while enjoying food, drinks, and fun entertainment with friends. The event will include speakers from the American Cancer Society who will provide information on Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and the Mobile Mammo Coach, which will offer women on-site mammograms.
“Having had a personal scare with breast cancer, I know firsthand the importance of getting mammograms regularly. I hope with this event that people who have put off getting mammograms will take advantage of the convenient opportunity to get checked,” says Amy Denius-Jean of Frank Jean LMT Massage Therapy.
At the event, enjoy entertainment by DJ Robert McDonald while you browse items from a variety of local vendors, such as Denimianco Boutique, Cotton Daze, and Dazzle Too. Don’t miss the event’s signature cocktail or the Pretty in Pink Fashion show, offering fun fall fashion tips and displaying the latest trends from local vendors. This happy hour will also offer chair massages, an organic wine tasting, specialty food vendors, auction items, a 50/50 raffle, and hotel specials. A portion of signature drink and local vendor sales goes back to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
