Rotary Club of Fort Myers South is pleased to announce that the Miami Dolphins are offering a Youth Football Clinic on Tuesday, December 10th as part of their continued support of the Annual John Carrigan Rotary South All-Star Classic events. The clinic is for boys and girls, ages 6-14 and will take place from 6-8 p.m. on December 10th at Fort Myers High School. There is no charge for the clinic. Parents who wish to secure a spot for their child in the clinic should submit an online waiver or complete a waiver upon arrival.
This grassroots program presented by the Miami Dolphins emphasizes education, physical fitness, and positive choice for youth in a safe and fun environment, encouraging children who participate to become “DolFit” kids. Former Dolphins players will be leading the clinic, which will offer boys and girls the ability to participate in drills featuring obstacle courses, hurdles, knock-away dummies, ladder, and halfback pads identical to Dolphins players.
Every participant in the clinic will also receive a complimentary ticket to the John Carrigan Rotary South All-Star Classic football game, which will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Fort Myers High School. The All-Star Classic matches top Lee County high school senior football players in a north vs. south competition. Dolphins’ alumni will attend the game, serving as honorary coaches, as well as providing stadium enhancements for the match-up.
