Steven J. Adamczyk Named Charitable Estate Planning Volunteer of the Year
The law firm of Goede, Adamczyk & DeBoest, PLLC is proud to announce that Partner Steven J. Adamczyk has recently been recognized as the Charitable Estate Planning Volunteer of the Year by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Adamczyk works to educate AHA event attendees and members about the organization’s charitable estate planning arm. He was presented with the award at a research reception held at Healthpark Medical Center in Fort Myers.
Adamczyk first became involved with the AHA through fellow partner and Florida State Representative Heather Fitzenhagen and the firm’s managing partner, Richard DeBoest, II, and quickly realized he wanted to deepen his commitment to the organization. “There is a strong emphasis on education, research and community that I have rarely experienced,” stated Steven Adamczyk.
Part of Adamczyk’s work has been to highlight the Paul Dudley White Legacy Society, named after the AHA’s founder and President Eisenhower’s personal physician. Membership is open to individuals who have made an estate gift to support the AHA’s mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
“I, like so many others, have family members, colleagues and friends who have been affected by heart disease,” Adamczyk said. “The efforts of the American Heart Association are changing my life and the life of my family in a positive direction through research and advocacy.”
Steven J. Adamczyk oversees the estate planning and probate practice at Goede, Adamczyk & DeBoest, PLLC. He also focuses in the areas of community associations and corporate and real estate law.
