The Deputy Dogs team and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Animal Cruelty Task Force will be joining Lee County Domestic Animal Services and the Gulf Coast Humane Society at Bell Tower between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm for some fun activities…”Get Your Groom On,” “Rescue Row” featuring R.A.I.N., a fashion contest and an opportunity to meet Mellie the Math Dog. Those of us who did not do well in mathematics will keep our distance from Mellie in fear of embarrassment.
Deputy Chance will be on hand and will be a contest judge alongside County Commissioner Cecil Pendergrass and United Way CEO Jeannine Joy. This event is free to attend.
