Got the competitive itch? FN Magazine is here to scratch it! Partnered with PhysioFit, FN Magazine hosts Box Battle, a local two-day fitness event held at Lovers Key State Park on September 28th & 29th. This event will help benefit two local charities, Girls on The Run of Collier County and South Florida Mud Run for Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
Box Battle is a competition that focuses on spotlighting the local health and fitness community. This event is professionally designed with fitness tests that will measure an athlete’s strength, endurance, balance, speed, precision, agility, and power. The competition consists of a series of workouts for individual males and females, as well as teams. This is an outdoor event held on the beach, it will be sunny, and lots of fun! Food, drinks, and shaded areas will be available to spectators and competitors.
To kick-start Box Battle, FN Magazine presents a Fall Social event at Fit2Run in Coconut Point, Estero on Wednesday, September 25th. This social starts off with a bike ride and a run at 6pm, followed by raffles, prizes, food and drinks at the Fit2Run store location at 21390 Fashion Drive, Suite 109 Coconut Point Mall. All are welcome to join in the fun.
