Operational excellence can take a company from good to great. The Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association (SRMA) is proud to present keynote speaker David Martin who will talk about The Toyota Way guiding principles and how to apply these winning strategies to your own business.
SRMA invites manufacturers and business owners across southwest Florida to join them for this special event on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 8-9:30 a.m. at Shaw Development, located at 25190 Bernwood Drive in Bonita Springs.
Martin has worked two decades as a design and development engineer at a major construction equipment manufacturer plus more than two decades at Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America in the field of quality assurance / quality control.
“My career at Toyota provided me exposure to Toyota’s true DNA,” says Martin. “I was able to grasp and practice all aspects of Toyota Quality practices and the true application of the Toyota Production System from the design stage, through manufacturing operations, and ending with the customer experience and field quality.”
Guests will learn Toyota’s philosophy and approach, how to achieve operational excellence, as well as enjoy networking and light refreshments.
