CONRIC is looking for a remote contract PR Specialist to develop and execute communications and media strategies, and coordinate PR activities for our Midwest/Illinois based clientele. The
ideal candidate has strong relationships with Midwest media outlets and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
- Facilitate media interviews for clients when applicable
- Create content when needed for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations
- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
- Evaluate opportunities for influencer partnerships, sponsorships, awards and advertising on an as needed basis
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
Qualifications/Skills
- 4-10 years proven working experience in Public Relations required
- Proven track record executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
- Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Strong organization skills
- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline
