CONRIC PR & Marketing recently received statewide honors from the Florida Magazine Association and Florida Public Relations Association recognizing excellence in feature writing and public relations, respectively.
At its Golden Image Awards celebration, the Florida Public Relations Association presented CONRIC with an Award of Distinction for the public relations campaign for the Rotary Club of Fort Myers South Law & Order Ball. Judges were impressed with CONRIC’s multiple use of press releases and narrative stories that successfully promoted the event, as well as the positive image of local law enforcement.
The firm also took home a Judges’ Award and an Award of Distinction for the digital marketing campaign for the nation’s top high school basketball tournament, the Culligan City of Palms Classic. Judges stated that the campaign was a well developed and executed creative social media campaign that included Snapchat filters to engage youth during the event.
At its 2017 Florida Media Conference’s Charlie Awards banquet, the Florida Magazine Association presented a Bronze Charlie Award to CONRIC PR & Marketing for Best Feature Writing for the story “Something in the Water,” published in the Lee County Bar Association’s Res Gestae magazine and written by Communications Editor Sara Fitzpatrick Comito. Set against intensive historical, scientific and policy context, the article highlighted the efforts of young attorneys to make progress against Southwest Florida’s water woes.
CONRIC has now received 10 awards at the statewide FPRA ceremony since first entering the competition in 2014. The agency has four such accolades from the Florida Magazine Association, three in writing excellence and one for design.
The Image Awards competition is conducted annually by the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association to recognize outstanding public relations programs and to encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism in the region.
The Florida Magazine Association awards program has recognized excellence in magazines that serve communities, trades and organizations throughout Florida, as well as niche readerships across the United States, since 1957.
