Florida Public Relations Association honors firm’s excellence in its service to Spada Salon & Day Spa and Cause for the Paws event for Dress for Success SW Florida

Connie Ramos Williams, CEO and President of CONRIC PR & Marketing | Publishing, is proud to announce that the agency was recognized in the state of Florida for its excellence in public relations and presented with two statewide public relations awards at the Florida Public Relation Association’s (FPRA) 58th Golden Image Award ceremony held in Orlando. The Golden Image Awards competition is conducted annually by the FPRA to recognize outstanding public relations programs. It has become a standard of public relations excellence in Florida. Winners demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design.

CONRIC received a Judge’s Award for its marketing and public relations efforts for Cause for the Paws, a public awareness and fundraising campaign to bring awareness to the alarming number of shelter animals that are euthanized and the low rate of adoption of those pets while raising funds for the Gulf Coast Humane Society (GCHS). Spearheaded by Creative Director April Bordeaux as her Community Action Project for Dress for Success SW Florida’s 2015 Professional Women’s Group, the project raised $2,604, procured computers for GCHS, and directly resulted in the adoption of 12 animals.

An Award of Distinction was awarded for CONRIC’s television and online commercial video campaign, production and distribution to promote Spada Salon & Day Spa’s services and gift certificates during the busy December 2014 through February 2015 holiday season. CONRIC’s campaign strategy included the inclusion of several high-profile community and business leaders to star in the video, targeted radio and TV media buys, distribution of the video across social media, script writing and video production. The campaign was a success, resulting in increased gift certificate sales over the previous year and surpassing set goals.

The statewide FPRA Golden Image Awards takes place following regional Image Awards competitions. CONRIC took home five regional Image Awards from the Southwest Florida chapter this spring, including the prestigious Grand Image Award for excellence in its public relations work on behalf of four of its clients.
