Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc., whose mission is to serve victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, recently appointed CONRIC PR & Marketing’s chief marketing strategist, Ryan Sheehy to its board of directors. Sheehy brings a 17-year marketing communication career and passion for mental health advocacy to help further the organization’s goals.
“With ACT’s long history of serving vulnerable individuals who are facing great difficulties and need tremendous support, I’m truly honored to support the organization’s mission and look forward to introducing new communication initiatives, marketing tactics and fundraising strategies,” said Sheehy.
With a multi-million dollar operational budget, ACT relies on the generous support of the community to drive donations to help run its facilities in Lee and Hendry Counties and support key programming to fulfill its mission. The 2017 lineup of activities include: the “Poker Run” to Benefit ACT on May 28 at Six Bends Harley-Davidson; “Firefighters versus Law Enforcement Officers Basketball Tournament,” as well as ACT’s premiere annual event, “Arts for ACT” at the Hyatt Coconut Point on November 11.
“We’ve needed a strong marketing communication board member to spearhead key initiatives for our organization. The ACT board of directors and our executive director, Jennifer Benton, is thrilled to have Ryan on the board to lend her expertise, and we believe Ryan will make a significant difference to the organization,” said ACT president, Steven Chaipel.
Sheehy leads CONRIC PR & Marketing’s award winning creative marketing and communications team. She conceptualizes and directs fully integrated marketing communication campaigns for a diverse group of clients. Sheehy plays a critical role championing new ways to amplify a message, maximize exposure and drive bottom line business objectives.
