Associates and Bruce L. Scheiner have stepped up to become the title sponsor of Fort Myers Bike Night in an effort to keep the popular event alive. After being held in downtown Fort Myers for years, the oldest event for motorcyclist enthusiasts in Southwest Florida is set for its new digs at Rockstar Harley-Davidson from 5-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.
After the River District Alliance made the decision to cancel Fort Myers Bike Night due to safety reasons, Bruce L. Scheiner and Rockstar Harley-Davidson took the controls to keep this Fort Myers tradition going strong for motorcyclists.
“While we empathize with those that may be disappointed about the move, we knew we had to keep this event going. We have a long-standing tradition in this community of supporting bikers and their safety, we wanted this great event to continue in a very special place at Rockstar Harley-Davidson and we are excited to be the title sponsor,” firm founder Bruce L. Scheiner said.
An extravaganza is planned at Rockstar Harley-Davidson, 9501 Thunder Road in Fort Myers. There will be dazzling motorcycles on display, along with food, drinks, live music on multiple stages, and plenty of vendors selling all types of motorcycle products.
Although this is the first time Associates and Bruce L. Scheiner is the title sponsor for Fort Myers Bike Night, the firm has a long association with Cape Coral Bike Night, which is now in its 12th year.
Riding into 2020, future Fort Myers Bike Nights are scheduled for Jan. 11, March 14 and May 9.
“Rockstar is rocking it for us and it is tremendous that we are able to keep this tradition alive,” Scheiner said.
