Dr. LauraAnn Migliore, Organizational Strategist at Abundant Knowledge, L.L.C., will be offering strategies to achieve this at the upcoming Association for Talent Development (ATD) Southwest Florida Chapter webinar on Wednesday, July 29 form 12-1 p.m.
The discussion on decision-making models for personal impact to organization strategy, will review different types of decision-making models to fit a variety of organizational situations. Knowing which decision-making model to use and when, will upgrade your decision-making skills to keep pace with current and ongoing business needs and strategically impact organizational effectiveness.
In this session, Migliore will demonstrate principles of prudent decision-making using principles of evidence-based management and bounded rationality along with some decision-making models to improve the TD professional’s strategic impact to the organization. Her approach will address the ATD Capability Model in the domain of personal and the capability of emotional intelligence and decision making. Using scenario-based examples, she will facilitate participant discussion on:
· data and information handling,
· logic and rationale, and
· anchoring to core values and beliefs.
The participant-centered dialogue will help attendees gain new insights and expand personal and professional perspectives in the decision-making process, including new techniques.
