Auto insurance rates reduced for millions of Floridians

August 24, 2020 CONRIC PR

Driving behaviors across the nation are evolving during the COVID-19 pandemic, and auto insurance customers are reaping the benefits. Cape Coral State Farm Agents Mike and Dawn Sullivan are pleased to announce that State Farm customers in Florida will see their auto insurance rates drop by an average of 10%.

“People are driving less, and as a result we’ve seen a decline in the number of accidents,” said Mike Sullivan. “That translates to a lower cost when it comes to insuring drivers. Our current customers will see this rate reduction when their policy renews. And that’s also great news for new and returning customers, because they’ll be able to take advantage of these lower rates, too.”

State Farm’s rate reduction will save more than two million Florida drivers a total of $290 million. Customer rate renewals will vary based on their individual renewals.

In addition to the rate reduction, drivers participating in State Farm’s Drive Safe & Save program will earn additional benefits. Drive Safe & Save offers a discount on auto insurance premiums for safe driving behaviors. State Farm has announced that the discount for participating drivers is increasing to 10%.

With these new reductions and discounts taking effect, the Sullivan Agencies recommend that vehicle owners review their current auto policy coverage, deductibles and exclusions. Agents Mike and Dawn Sullivan can also review policies for discount opportunities, including Drive Safe & Save.
