Litigator John Miller has joined the law firm of Boy Agnew Potanovic as a partner. Miller has a wealth of defense-side tort litigation and personal injury experience, but it was the opportunity to expand his litigation practice that was one of his biggest draws in making the move. “I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do what I love in a unique environment with folks who are like-minded and are growing something from the ground up,” said Miller, who will continue to serve his existing insurance defense clients while also broadening his work into areas of employment and business litigation, to assist the firm in handling existing caseloads.
“We are thrilled to have John join us as a partner. He is an excellent litigator who perfectly complements the needs of our firm,” said partner John Agnew. “Equally important, he shares our same business values and commitment to clients, service to the bar, and involvement in the community.”
Miller joins Boy Agnew Potanovic after 12 years at Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., where he was a partner. Miller grew up on Pine Island and graduated from the University of Florida before receiving his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. He is very active in the community, and currently serves on the Lee County Bar Association Executive Committee and the Fort Myers YMCA Advisory Board.
An avid runner, Miller lives in North Fort Myers with his wife, who is also a lawyer, and two children, ages 7 and 9.
