A single act of generosity can lead to countless others. The Cape Coral Community Foundation invites Southwest Florida to celebrate philanthropy and continue a tradition of giving at the Generous Cape Reception on Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 6-8 p.m. at the Palmetto Pines Country Club at 1940 SW 9th Court in Cape Coral.
Proceeds raised at the fundraising event will benefit the Cape Coral Community Foundation’s Nonprofit Education Fund, a program that gives local nonprofit organization’s staff, board of directors and volunteers the opportunity to attend educational seminars that will help them learn how to raise even more to benefit the community.
The event will also honor 10 people who dedicate their time, talent and treasure to improving Lee County through various community endeavors. The evening will bring together outstanding individuals, companies and organizations for a night of inspiration.
“The Generous Cape Reception is one of my favorite events because it gives us the opportunity to truly recognize community influencers,” said Michael Chatman, Cape Coral Community Foundation CEO. “Their continuous generosity represents what we stand for as an organization and their dedication is the heartbeat of our mission.”
Tickets cost $50. Sponsorship opportunities and tickets are available at capecoralcf.org/events.
