The Fourth of July falls on a Thursday this year, so The Jac Sanibel Island Bar & Grille is having fun all weekend. The new restaurant on Periwinkle Way invites everyone to enjoy festive food, drinks and live music from Thursday, July 4 through Sunday, July 7.
“Red, White and Brew” features specialty drinks at the back bar. The Blue Mule takes a patriotic twist on The Jac’s Moscow Mule for just $10. Turn up the fun with a shot of America the Blue-tiful, which includes rum, curacao and lemonade, or a shot of the Star-Spangled Summer, a blend of Bacardi Ras, Bacardi Lemon, grenadine, sour and cran, for just $5. Plus, all draft beers are only $3.
Two signature handcrafted burgers will be $1 off all weekend. Set sail with the famous Captain’s Burger, which includes an 8-ounce brisket, short rib, top sirloin specialty patty, spiced pork belly, bacon, slow-smoked paprika aioli and cheese. Or savor the mouthwatering Old-Fashioned Burger, featuring an 8-ounce brisket, short rib, top sirloin specialty patty, lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion.
The Jac’s back bar also features American fan favorites for only $6, like the spiced pork belly, bacon cheese fries, Slow Wings, fried pickles, chicken tenders and more.
And it wouldn’t be a summertime holiday without a cool treat. Harriette will feature her homemade red, white and blue dessert — a delectable strawberry shortcake with fresh whipped cream, juicy strawberries and a delightful smattering of blueberries.
Live music and dancing happens every night at the back bar. To see The Jac’s full event calendar, visit thejacsanibel.com/events.
