Breaking Free Living Well Counseling Center is hosting the second of its “Healing is for Today” seminars at Lake Kennedy Center, 400 Santa Barbara Blvd., in Cape Coral, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 6. This session will focus on physical healing and how to break free from a “sickness mindset.”
There is growing evidence that spiritual practices are associated with improved health and wellbeing, especially during trying times. Research has shown that by changing people’s mindset, belief systems and ultimately, their behaviors, they are able to improve their lives. “Healing is for Today” seminars can show you how to meet the rigorous demands of everyday life, heal from the pain that is limiting you, and find meaning in the challenges we face.
“Directing our attention inward and focusing on increased empathy and compassion can help quiet a troubled mind,” said Gaspar Anastasi, founder of Breaking Free Living Well Counseling Center. “Being physically unwell leads to mental and emotional discomforts of anxiety and depression. Challenges and even failures are a part of every human experience. You are not alone.”
There is no charge for the “Healing is for Today” seminar, which is open to everyone. Trained, certified and experienced counselors will guide you as you embark on a journey to healing and wholeness. Their wisdom will help you break free in areas of your life that hinder emotional, physical and spiritual health.
“We can help you find the healing you have been seeking your whole life through love, grace and acceptance,” added Anastasi. “‘Healing is for Today’ helps remove disruptive thought patterns and develop inner and outer strength so you can overcome challenges and continue a life with purpose and meaning.”
Gaspar Anastasi will lead the seminar. He is founder of Breaking Free Living Well Counseling Center, Word of Life Ministries, and the New Life Dream Center (a residential substance abuse program). For nearly four decades, his life’s work has restored countless families, marriages and individuals to wholeness and successful living.
An international speaker, author and mentor, Anastasi has been recognized and awarded by the local Board of County Commissioners for contributing to a better quality of life in Lee County. He holds Doctorates in Theology and Christian Counseling, is a Professional Clinical Member of the National Christian Counselors Association, and is a Certified Temperament Counselor.
PJ Anastasi, who shares his father’s passion to see people experience wholeness and healing, will be joining Gaspar in the seminar. PJ is an author, teacher and mentor, and holds a Doctorate in Theology.
“I was depressed and felt so hopeless I wanted to just not wake up in the morning,” said an attendee of a past seminar. “No one knew and I looked and functioned great on the outside, but on the inside I was dying. The counseling I received helped me to get out of my past and start living with purpose, coming out of depression and into a new found joy of living. My comeback has overcome my setback.”
In addition to “Healing is for Today” seminars, individual counseling sessions are available in-person or via Zoom, and convenient payment plans are available. For more information, or to register for the free events, please visit Breakingfreecc.com/healing-for-today/ or call 239-274-8881 ext. 250.
