Fathoms Restaurant and Bar was pleased to take part in the Sunday, August 16 Heights Center Hurricane Party and Rum Drink Competition. Fathoms’ Assistant Manager Amber Blanchard competed against bartenders from four other area restaurants to see who could make the best rum drink. Guests had the opportunity to sample and vote for their favorite cocktail.
The event was held to support the work done by The Heights Foundation. The Heights Foundation works to build strong, self-sufficient families in the Harlem Heights neighborhood. As a 501(c)3 grassroots organization, the Center’s mission is to promote family and community development, support education, health and wellness, and provide the benefits of enrichment, expressive and cultural arts.
