Gather, Fathoms to bring out the excitement on New Year’s Eve

December 30, 2019 CONRIC PR

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (Dec. 30, 2019) – The ‘20s will be roaring again as Gather and Fathoms ring in the new year as only they know how. The decade begins with amazing New Year’s Eve celebrations on Tuesday, Dec. 31 at Cape Coral’s premier waterfront dining spots. Fireworks will light up the skies over Gather, champagne bottles will pop at both Gather and Fathoms, and a whole lot more fun and excitement is on tap for everyone to enjoy.

The sumptuous menu from executive chefs Fabrice Deletrain and Benjamin Voisin at Fathoms starts with an irresistible mini bread and a warm, inviting Maine lobster cake. The Surf & Turf main course features braised sterling silver beef short ribs and butter poached sugar cane shrimp skewers, Yukon whipped potatoes, and serrano wrapped asparagus with red burgundy demi-glace.

Then comes a mouthwatering Norman Love New Year’s Eve dessert, plus a complimentary glass of champagne to usher out the old and in the new.

At Gather, that menu is even more tantalizing, and includes a tempting amuse bouche with Surf & Turf made of sterling silver short rib, fermented pepper jelly jus, scallops and aerated cauliflower almandine. Gather’s mixologists are also offering a complimentary glass of champagne or selected craft cocktail.

DJ Malike will handle the tunes at Gather while Soapy Tuna cranks up the music at Fathoms as the clock counts down toward midnight and the ball drop. The reservation-only dinner costs $95 per person at Gather and $80 per person at Fathoms with seating times at 6, 8 and 10 p.m. Six percent sales tax and 20 percent gratuity will be added to the bill.

Call Gather at 239-673-9939 or Fathoms at 239-542-0123 to reserve a table. Keep up with all the happenings at gathercape.com and fathomsrestaurant.com
