Iron Ridge Insurance Services is granting a special Christmas wish to one Florida family, as part of the USPS Operation Santa program. Operation Santa was established by the Postal Service 109 years ago to help those in need experience a happy holiday season.
Letters to Santa have been arriving at post offices for well over a century. In 1912, the U.S. Postmaster General authorized local postmasters to allow employees and customers to respond to these heartfelt notes. The program eventually became known as USPS Operation Santa. This is the Iron Ridge team’s first year participating in the tradition.
