Lane Boy earns prestigious CCIM designation

June 8, 2021 CONRIC PR

Lane Boy of Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Property Southwest Florida (CPSWFL) has recently earned the distinguished Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute. Boy received the designation in May 2021 by the Florida CCIM chapter.

CCIM designees have achieved the highest levels of education, technical proficiency, and business ethics in the industry and are recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate. Only an estimated 6 percent of industry professionals have earned the CCIM designation. To earn a CCIM, commercial real estate professionals must complete four core courses and several electives, submit a portfolio showcasing a depth of experience, and pass a comprehensive exam. Combined with real-world experience, this education has prepared Boy to better help his clients minimize risk by making informed decisions and closing more deals.

“We are all so proud of Lane’s focus and determination to receive this designation as quickly as he did,” said Gary Tasman, CEO and Principal Broker at CPSWFL. “Lane’s extensive experience in real estate, expert knowledge of local markets, and finely-honed negotiating skills enable him to deliver outstanding results for his clients.”

A native-born Floridian, Boy has 20+ years of experience in real estate-related industries and joined Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Property Southwest Florida in July 2017. Before joining the CPSWFL team, Boy served as the CEO of two real estate businesses.

In his current role as a director and broker at CPSWFL, Boy specializes in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, Glades, and DeSoto Counties and is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s National Land Practice Group. Lane is an expert in commercial properties of all types and specializes in land brokerage.
