Proper planning and maximizing value are critical components for any successful business. The Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association is bringing an industry expert to address those increasingly valuable assets for its Nov. 12 meeting from 8-9:30 a.m. at the Lee County Economic Development Office, 2201 Second Street, Suite 500, in Fort Myers.
“Business Continuity Planning and Enhancing Business Value for Manufacturing” is the topic for keynote speaker Brian Simon, a chartered financial consultant with Alliance Financial Group. Simon, who is also a chartered life underwriter and certified exit planner, helps business owners and successful professionals maximize net worth and plan for a successful future. He joined Alliance Financial Group in 2004 after a successful career as a sportscaster for WINK-TV.
Business Continuity Planning creates a way for businesses to protect themselves against potential threats by using a network of prevention and recovery systems. The plan is created in advance and usually involves key personnel within the business.
The cost to attend the roundtable is $10 for SRMA members and $20 for nonmembers. Visit srma.net to sign up for the event and learn about all the benefits of membership.
