Sullivan State Farm® Agencies celebrate new office location and 15 years serving Cape Coral community

To support continued growth and expand upon 15 years of serving the community with a reputation for excellent customer service, Cape Coral State Farm Agents Mike and Dawn Sullivan are excited to announce their move to a new location that offers greater convenience and will help them better serve their clients and the community.

“Our roots are here in Cape Coral, we consider this community family,” said Mike Sullivan. “We do so much more than insurance. For us, it’s about helping families manage the risks of daily life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams. It’s also about giving back to the community we all love and making it a better place for everyone to call home.”

The Sullivans purchased the building at 2728 Santa Barbara Blvd., opening the doors for business on Nov. 5. Offering more space and its own entrance and parking lot, visits to the Sullivan State Farm Agencies are now more convenient. “This move may only be about 200 feet away from where we were, but it will make a world of difference in accommodating our staff and clients,” said Dawn Sullivan.

Established in 2007, the Sullivan State Farm Agencies are the offices of a husband-and-wife team. Originally operating as wholly separate entities, during the recession the two decided to operate from a shared office with a shared team. Their professional relationship soon blossomed into a personal one that led to marriage. In addition to their excellent business reputation, the couple is well-known for generously giving back and being part of a broader community family. Over the last year alone, they have donated an estimated $250,000 to community projects.

The Sullivan State Farm Agencies are not only dedicated to the individuals they serve, but also to their team members, who help them make a difference in Southwest Florida. What makes the Sullivan State Farm Agencies stand out from the rest is their commitment to helping everyone who walks through their doors, whether it’s helping people achieve their goals or offering support during challenging times, Dawn and Mike are always lending a helping hand.

Having branded their business as the education agency, the Sullivans pay particular attention to removing obstructions young people face along their path to higher education and success. The agencies sponsor 20-25 classrooms each year, organizing a drive for school supplies and lifting an annual burden from teachers and underprivileged families. They also sponsor local Pop Warner football, youth baseball and the Cape Junior Cudas, a swim team. The couple also partners with Cape Christian for Cape Leads, a program that brings current and future leaders together for learning and collaboration. They back the Southwest Florida Wine and Food Fest, which benefits Southwest Florida Children’s Charities, the Lee County PACE Center for Girls, and Valerie’s House, which provides grief support for children and families.

The Sullivan State Farm Agencies support several local organizations focusing on behavioral and mental health, including the Lee Health Foundation, Hope Clubhouse, SalusCare and the Alzheimer’s Foundation. The Sullivans also take a keen interest in eliminating hunger, sponsoring the Community Cooperative soup kitchen in a variety of ways, while also giving to the Cape Christian Mission for Hunger Fund.

Everything the Sullivan State Farm Agencies do is all about pushing other people forward to find success. All team members are fully licensed in all lines of insurance and work together on ensuring policyholders receive the highest levels of customer service. The Sullivan State Farm Agencies also set a high bar for community stewardship, and they continually lift their employees into a position where they can exceed the mark. Employees can use company time to volunteer at an organization of their choice, and several on-the-clock hours are also dedicated to company service projects, like building houses for Habitat for Humanity.

The Sullivan’s also established Sully’s House, a self-funded foundation focused on at-risk individuals and families in need of assistance with home down payments, vehicles, scholarships, medical, debt assistance and many others.

Whenever an employee identifies a need, the Sullivans are there to address it. They’ve paid for family members of their employees to attend college and receive much-needed private tutoring, and they’ve kicked in financial support for numerous community projects their employees have engaged in. The Sullivans operate on the theory that if they give of themselves, others will follow suit. The “pay it forward” model they set inspires a culture of generosity for the entire team.

It’s evident the Sullivan State Farm Agencies strongly believe in family, safety and community. For the holidays, the agencies are currently the main sponsor for the Holiday Festival of Lights in Cape Coral. They also host a toy drive every year at their offices and partner with local organizations to make and donate food baskets for Thanksgiving.

The Sullivan’s are planning a celebration of their new location early next year.
