A powerful force for advertisers is jump-starting its next phase. The American Advertising Federation-Southwest Florida chapter will celebrate its reactivation with a kickoff event and swearing-in ceremony on Thursday, July 25 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers.
The group better known as AAF-SWFL is a professional advertising club and political action organization devoted to the protection and promotion of advertising in Southwest Florida. Now accepting membership applications, AAF-SWFL is open to advertisers, agencies, media companies and advertising service providers in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Glades and Hendry counties.
The evening will include guest speakers, presentations, and the inauguration of officers and members of the board of directors. Special guest Barry Wallace, the 2019-20 chairman of the American Advertising Federation’s Council of Governors, will conduct the swearing-in ceremony.
Cocktails will be served from 5:30-6 p.m., followed by light hors d’oeuvres from 6-7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $30 for members, $35 for non-members and include admission and one beverage ticket. To register visit aafswfl.wildapricot.org/event-3407905.
