Holiday cheer is abounding in Southwest Florida thanks to the Tommy Bohanon Foundation, as the organization will host two holiday toy drive events in early December to collect toys and donations for children in need living in the SWFL community. On Saturday, December 11th, the Tommy Bohanon Foundation’s Second Annual Charity Softball Tournament and Toy Drive will be held at the Northwest Cape Coral Softball Complex. Last year, the event raised $15,000 for the children in the Southwest Florida community, and the foundation hopes to surpass that goal at this year’s event in order to provide toys for even more children at Christmas time.

The Tommy Bohanon Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young athletes to reach their highest potential on and off the playing field. Former NFL fullback, Tommy Bohanon, returned to his hometown in Southwest Florida to pursue his vision of ending generational poverty for at-risk youth.
