Tara “TJ” Jacobs

Tara (TJ) Jacobs is a servant leader with decades of experience building and leading teams that drive engagement in a variety of industries on both the agency and corporate sides of marketing and communications. A roll-up-her-sleeves professional in B2B, B2C, B2B2C and DTC, her brain builds brands. Passionate about creating compelling verbal and visual storytelling, TJ has a proven track record of crafting plans that increase brand awareness and growth as well as improve profitability. She has a flair for communication and particularly excels in shaping marketing strategy through memorable brand-defining stories while leading the next generation of relationship-builders and marketers.

TJ started her career on the agency side in Portland, OR before graduating from the University of Portland with her degree in Communications Management, specializing in Television and Radio. After relocating to Seattle, WA she continued to grow her career in advertising, marketing and communications while transitioning to the corporate side. TJ worked in partner marketing while creating travel content at Expedia Inc. before moving back to the agency side supporting Fortune 100, Fortune 250, and small business clients. She most recently led marketing for a franchised retail chain before joining CONRIC.

Hailing originally from Tacoma, WA, TJ has dual German citizenship but admits to not speaking fluent German. When she’s not building brands, TJ enjoys spending time with her husband (Alex) at the beach, cuddling her two rescue dogs (Gizmo and Zola), traveling and exploring, listening to music, enjoying vegetarian cuisine and craft beer, and watching sports. You will find her and Alex cheering on their Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, and Kraken at every possible moment from their home in Delray Beach, FL.
