CONRIC scores four Florida public relations awards for excellence

CONRIC pr + marketing gets award-winning results for its clients. The latest testament came Thursday, August 27th at the Florida Public Relations Association’s 2020 Golden Image Awards virtual ceremony when CONRIC received four awards for three marketing campaigns the agency developed for its clients. CONRIC was among the leading public relation agencies and professionals throughout the state of Florida competing for top honors.

 “Words from the Waterkeeper,” a video blog series focused on the water quality efforts launched by Calusa Waterkeeper, Inc., won an Award of Distinction in the Institutional Video category. “Faces of Hope Who Give,” a powerful video highlighting  Hope Clubhouse’s work with adults living with mental illness and those who give so generously to the organization, won both an Award of Distinction and Judge’s Award in the Promotional/Marketing Video category. “Keep Lee Plastic Free,” a campaign that promoted the use of paper over plastic trash bags for yard waste disposal in Lee County, won a Judge’s Award in the Integrated Marketing category. The four 2020 awards raise CONRIC’s total statewide award count to 17 since 2014.

We congratulate all finalists and winners who were honored for their hard work and excellence at this year’s Golden Image Awards.”

CONRIC submitted projects under two categories, Public Relations Programs and Digital Tools of Public Relations Programs. The “Faces of Hope Who Give” video, developed and produced by CONRIC for the Hope Clubhouse Annual Luncheon, helped event organizers generate a record-breaking $201,764 in donations with 60 percent of the audience in attendance making a donation. “Words from the Waterkeeper” had an online audience reach of almost 15,000 total views and over 70 post engagements on all social platforms during the campaign. “Keep Lee Plastic Free” was a multimedia marketing campaign that was created for Lee County Solid Waste that resulted in a positive community response to switch their plastic bags for paper or trash bins for yard waste.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions in place, this year’s Golden Image Awards ceremony was conducted virtually for the first time in its history with all nominees participating on Facebook Live. Emceeing this year’s event was FPRA State president, Allyson Lundell, APR, CPRC.
