In a time when the status of our country is changing day by day, one thing remains constant – the many heroes that help us stay safe and support our community. To celebrate these heroes, CONRIC PR & Marketing is encouraging the community to support those on the front lines by stepping outside of their homes and making some noise by clapping, cheering, singing, ringing bells, banging pots, etc. every Thursday at 7 p.m. Each week, a different group will be celebrated. Last week healthcare workers were honored. This week teachers reconnected with their students to begin teaching online. Therefore, teachers will be the community heroes featured at the event scheduled for Thursday, April 2.
Residents of Southwest Florida can tune into the SWFL Strong Facebook group or the CONRIC PR & Marketing Facebook page at 7 p.m. for a live video of neighborhoods making noise to honor and celebrate our local heroes. Anyone participating is asked to share a video or photo in the group or on their own platforms with the hashtags #SWFLStrong and #SWFLHeroes.
“It’s inspirational to see so many people in our community make sacrifices in their service to others during this global COVID-19 pandemic,” says Connie Ramos-Williams, president and chief marketing officer of CONRIC PR & Marketing. “Our hope is to bring everyone in our five-county area together to celebrate the generosity, kindness and courage being shown by our healthcare workers, teachers, first responders and other groups in our community each and every Thursday night at 7 .m. by making some noise in their honor.”
