Over 100 people gathered together and brought one or more new or gently used dresses to Spada Salon & Day Spa for their 4th Annual “Love That Dress!” SPADA-thon dress collection party to benefit PACE Center for Girls, Lee.
Last year’s event was a success, raising $5,016, but this year the bar was set even higher with a fundraising goal of $10,000. Thanks to the generosity of the community and owners and staff of Spada Salon & Day Spa, the May 22, 2013 event surpassed that goal and raised a record $11,500. This was the highest grossing party in the 4 years of LTD! Dress Collection parties. Andrew and Judy Williams, owner of Spada Salon & Day Spa, and their entire staff, offered a variety of salon and spa services at discount prices and donated all proceeds to the cause.
PACE is a 501c3 organization and works with young women between the ages of 12-18 living in at risk situations. PACE provides guidance and educational opportunities providing them with a path to a successful life.
