Cushman & Wakefield | Sage Partners has added Adam VanBecelaere and Alex Bennett as two new Brokerage Market Directors to its award-winning team. VanBecelaere will work in Northwest Arkansas and Bennett in Little Rock. They will be responsible for providing leadership, management, and accountability for the brokerage team, including staff development and the successful planning, organizing, and direction of Brokerage Services in their respective areas. Each will work to ensure strong client relationships, service quality and profitability. Their new roles will also help ensure Sage Partners is successfully onboarding new team members and exceeding the expectations of clients, as well as play a vital role in overall compliance for the firm.
VanBecelaere most recently served as a Director of Walmart Real Estate and Portfolio Management, responsible for a multi-billion-dollar real estate portfolio and strategy for territories across several states. He has proven results facilitated by analytical and negotiating skills and an ability to build relationships with landlords, city officials and third parties, while maximizing value in transactions through creative solutions. VanBecelaere holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Agricultural Business, from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
Bennett is the former Vice President of Real Estate and Development for David’s Burgers and Anchor Real Estate Investments, LLC, where he managed all of the company’s restaurant properties and real estate development projects. He has extensive experience in various areas of complex commercial real estate transactions including site identification, contract negotiations, development, financing, and commercial leasing. Bennett holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law. He also is a licensed attorney in the State of Arkansas.
Aaron Nicholson will continue to be a principal with the firm but will focus on his brokerage practice while being a mentor to the brokerage team.
