Gather makes good on its name on Friday, Nov. 10 when three epic musicians convene to burn up the dance floor at Tarpon Point Marina’s newest eatery. From 8:30 p.m. – 1 a.m., Southwest Florida will experience the club-infused potion of power, spontaneity and funk that “Mister Trombone” Wayne Perry, percussionist Ryan Anthony and DJ German Garcia deliver all the way from Palm Beach. Admission is free.
Guests may enjoy an assortment of Gather’s South Beach-caliber craft cocktails with nibbles such as the instantly famous crispy duck wings with tropical fruit-chipotle glaze, cumin grilled lamb lollipop with yogurt eggplant tzatziki, charcuterie, seared octopus, spicy lime and cilantro shrimp or Marta’s beef empanadas.
Craft beer, wines, daily features and a full dinner menu will also be served, including the popular lamb meatball spaghetti, the roasted porcini risotto, smoked salmon tartine and sous vide veal chop.
Happy hour specials are also available every Tuesday through Friday from 2 – 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. until midnight. Specials include $5 craft beer, $5 glasses of house wine, $5 call liquors and $8 craft cocktails. And, for wine lovers, Gather offers half-price bottles of wine $50 and under on Wednesdays starting at 4 p.m.
Gather opened at beautiful Tarpon Point Marina on Oct. 17, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, a full bar and picnic lunches for boaters. This new gastro-bar dining concept is the third successful Cape Coral venture for Benjamin Voisin, Valeria Zanella Voisin, and Meredith and Timothy Hoffman. The partners in HGH LLC traveled from the Caribbean to open their popular Cape Harbour restaurants, Fathoms Restaurant & Bar and The French Press.
Updates on all upcoming events are available at www.facebook.com/gathercape. Gather will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
