Embrace 2018 with a wonderful Bartenders’ dinner at the new Gather restaurant in Cape Coral at Tarpon Point on Thursday, Jan. 25 starting at 6:30 p.m. Featuring senior mixologist Jeremy Vincent and TimHessenbruch, Gather’s first-ever event of this kind will dazzle culinary and cocktail connoisseurs alike.
Attendees will be wowed with flaming libations, coffee-infused concoctions, and spicy spirits. Get a taste of Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic — Southwest Florida’s newest sensation — as well as other favorites, like the Carbonated Cosmo and the Hibiscus Fizz, all prepared by Jeremy and his team of mixologists.
Pair the drinks with some incredible appetizers from Chef Tim as he enlivens the night with fresh, original plates showcasing the flair that is making Gather one of the region’s best restaurants.

Also on tap for Gather in the new year, get the weekend started early with Thursday night trivia. Start Thursday evening off right with relaxing music at 6 p.m. followed by trivia at 7 p.m.
You’ll want to return on Friday nights as well as DJ German commands the turntable to lay down a South Beach club vibe from 8 p.m. to midnight. One Saturday a month, he’ll bring in “Mister Trombone” Wayne Perry with his smooth brand of upbeat funk, and the tribal-infused hand percussion stylings of Ryan Anthony. Admission is free to experience this power, spontaneity and funk while indulging in the craft cocktails and Nibbles menu offerings that have earned Gather a devoted crowd since its opening in October.
Every Sunday from 6-10 p.m. is Industry Sunday. Restaurant and hospitality folks will receive a complimentary small bite from the Nibbles menu with any drink order. Night owls enjoy Reverse Happy Hour from 10 p.m.-midnight on Friday and Saturday — and they can sleep in, since breakfast is served until 3 p.m. Sundays. Regular happy hour is every Tuesday through Friday from 2-6 p.m., offering $5 craft beer, $5 house wine, $5 call liquors and $8 craft cocktails. Wine Wednesday offers half-price on bottles $50 and under starting at 4 p.m.
Gather has quickly become popular for its inventive casual cuisine, craft cocktails and Nibbles, like the crispy duck wings with tropical fruit-chipotle glaze; Marta’s beef empanadas, charcuterie, seared octopus, spicy lime and cilantro shrimp; and cumin grilled lamb lollipop with yogurt eggplant tzatziki. Daily features and a full dinner menu are also served, including the popular lamb meatball spaghetti, the roasted porcini risotto, the smoked salmon tartine and the sous vide veal chop.
