Stone crab season arrives at The Jac Sanibel Island Bar & Grille

October 31, 2018 CONRIC PR

It’s time to get cracking, Southwest Florida. The highly anticipated stone crab season has officially begun at The Jac Sanibel Island Bar & Grille. The restaurant on Periwinkle Way is serving up those delicious claws for $40 per pound and $20 for half a pound. Individual claws cost $7 each.

The Jac is also welcoming the arrival of fall with the Pumpkin Spice Martini, a creamy and sweet libation with Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka and RumChata. It’s basically everyone’s favorite autumn pie in a chilled glass. And speaking of desserts, The Jac’s ultra-moist Rum Cake is made completely from scratch and has just the right amount of sweet flavor.

The Jac doesn’t stop there — happy hour runs every day from noon-6 p.m. at the bar. Draft beers are $3, well drinks are $4 and house wine is $5. And you can drink with a purpose, since the “Jac Gives Back” campaign will continue through the end of the year.

Half of the proceeds from four specialty drinks will be donated to local charities. The Periwinkle benefits Community Housing and Resources, the Pretty in Pink aids Partners for Breast Cancer, the Island Thyme supports the Kiwanis Club of Sanibel & Captiva, and the Sanibel Cougar helps the Canterbury Fund.
