The Rotary Club of Cape Coral is proud to announce its Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta on April 19th and 20th, 2013 at Four Freedoms Park in Cape Coral, Florida. The Regatta is open to participation from businesses, schools, youth groups, groups of friends, and non-profit organizations desiring to build a boat and participate. This is a wonderful team building experience; giving employees and groups an opportunity to work together toward a common goal and have a lot of fun doing it.

Register before April 1, 2013 and receive a discount on the entry fee per boat.  For families, youth groups, or individuals the entry fee is $30 ($20 before April 1) or $0 if you build a sponsors boat. For clubs or organizations the entry fee is $50 ($40 before April 1) or $0 if you build a sponsors boat. Entry fee for corporate teams are $275 ($250 before April 1), which includes one boat entry, two Pre-Event Party passes, two event T-Shirts and a stage mention.

 

Citizens’ Challenge Race

The Rotary Club will have three cardboard boats available for people who would like to join in the racing fun, but do not have time to build a boat. For only $10 per boat (max of two people in a boat), you can race in one of the multiple Citizens’ Challenge Race heats that will be run throughout the day. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
