Commercial Real Estate Services of SWFL Inc. (CRES) is proud to announce the addition of real estate attorney Greg May as managing director. May will assist clients in Southwest Florida as well as nationally and internationally for the Cape Coral-based company.
May is a commercial realtor and real estate attorney with more than 12 years of experience in real estate, including appraisal and land planning. A skilled negotiator, he has conducted hundreds of real estate valuations, litigated hundreds of contracts and mortgage foreclosures, provided title insurance services, and worked in the bankruptcy and eminent domain arenas.
All of that experience allows him a unique perspective on all sides of a transaction, and that sets him apart.
“With that, I’m able to provide a really high-quality service,” May said. “This is a service industry. It’s all about relationships. I try to keep that at the forefront of what I do.”
May approaches property and investment analysis, marketing, and contract review and support with integrity and honesty at all times. His dedication to communicating with clients and fully understanding their needs fits perfectly with CRES founder Carlos Acosta’s commitment to personalized attention and service.
“Our strengths match up well,” May said. “We’re both very active, very involved and hands-on with our clients.”
CRES specializes in sales, leasing, investment sales, land site selection and development, and property management for commercial properties. CRES also focuses on tenant representation and helps national, regional and local businesses expand into new locations.
May, a native of Lakeland, holds a law degree from the Florida State University College of Law and bachelor’s degrees in finance and risk/insurance management from the University of Florida. He lives in Fort Myers with his wife, Amelia, and their three children, ages 6, 5 and 3. He’s a member of the Lee County Bar Association and actively involved in the bar’s Land Use and Governmental Law Practice Section. He sits on the Board of Directors for the IMAG History & Science Center and is active with the Edison Pageant of Light.
