Evans, President of the Lee County Bar Association, has been awarded a family mediation certification serving the 12th and 20th Circuit Courts. This certification will allow Evans to offer mediation assistance to her clients, expanding the list of family law representation services she currently offers to residents of Southwest Florida.

Mary Evans relocated to Florida from Maryland in 1984, where she attended Edison Community College and Florida Gulf Coast University before earning her Juris Doctorate at Stetson College of Law in St. Petersburg, FL. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003, after which she began her professional career with two prominent Lee County law firms, exclusively practicing family law until 2011.
As one who has personally been through the struggles and stresses that accompany divorce, Evans remains understanding, compassionate, and reasonable in her approach to representing clients in divorce proceedings. Her primary motivation is family, not money, and she carries this with her into every sector of her law practice.
