Parents, Students & Educators Invited!
Parents, students, educators and the media are invited to attend an important workshop with Representative Heather Fitzenhagen on Wednesday, February 26 at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater from 4 to 5 p.m. This free seminar is intended to build awareness of the serious issue of bullying, including how to prevent bullying, recognize the signs that a child is a victim and take action when bullying has occurred.
This special workshop, presented by Representative Fitzenhagen, sponsor of HB 451. Also known as “Rebecca’s Law.” This landmark anti-bullying bill is named after 12-year old Rebecca Ann Sedwick, who committed suicide last year after allegedly being victimized by her peers.
