The Rotary Club of Fort Myers, chartered in 1922, is the first, oldest and largest among the 54 Rotary Clubs in Southwest Florida. It has a rich history of service commemorated by the planting of the historic Royal Palms along McGregor Boulevard, promotion of the I-75 corridor and advancing the partnership with the Boston Red Sox, as well as allocating grants locally and internationally to combat hunger, provide education and job training, improve health, mentor youth and promote world peace. The Rotary Club of Fort Myers has raised over $2.2 million for various organizations since 1922.
